# About LenderMatrix

LenderMatrix is a marketplace where commercial real estate and business lenders publish their loan programs, and borrowers search them or get matched.

### What it does

Each program lists the criteria its lender applies: loan size, leverage, property types, industries, states, rates and timing. Borrowers can filter programs like a database, or describe their deal once and see which programs fit, with the matched and unmatched criteria shown for each.

### How it works for borrowers

- Searching and matching are free and involve no credit pull.

- Your request goes only to the lenders you choose, and one lender cannot see which others you contacted.

- We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank logins or financial documents.

### How it works for lenders

- Lenders and brokers pay a flat monthly subscription to list programs. There are no per-request or success fees.

- Lenders on some plans can buy extra placement. It changes position only, not eligibility or match scores.

- Brokers are identified as brokers on their profiles and listings.

### What it is not

LenderMatrix is not a lender, broker or adviser. It does not approve loans, quote rates or verify lenders, and a potential match is not an approval or an offer. Every lender makes its own credit decision.
